VICCo. is located on the south end of Vashon Island in the scenic Puget Sound just a short ferry ride away from Seattle, Tacoma or the Kitsap Peninsula. 

Motor vehicle ferries arrive on the north end of Vashon Island from West Seattle (Fauntleroy Dock) and form the Kitsap Peninsula (Southworth Dock).  A third motor vehicle ferry arrives on the south end of Vashon Island (Tahlequah Dock) from Tacoma (Pt. A passenger-only ferry arrives from downtown Seattle (Pier 50) at the north end of Vashon Island on weekdays.  For current fares and schedules for the passenger-only ferry visit the King County Water Taxi website:

Casket Pickup and Delivery Policies:

Caskets and other products are available by appointment for pickup and delivery from Vashon Island Coffin Company:

Monday through Saturday from 7:00am – 7:00pm*

*Vashon Island Coffin Company is closed on all Sundays, as well as on the holidays of Christmas and Easter.

Casket Delivery Fees, Discounts and Special Arrangements:

It is not generally necessary that you be present at the time of delivery if you specify a secure drop off location when you place your order.  However, VICCo. cannot be held liable for damage that might occur following unattended deliveries.

FREE FRIDAY DELIVERY IN KING, PIERCE, KITSAP AND SNOHOMISH COUNTIES:

VICCo. caskets are delivered in the local Puget Sound region (which for VICCo.’s purposes includes King, Pierce, Kitsap and Snohomish counties) FREE on Fridays.  If you are able to make arrangements for delivery prior to your anticipated need, you can have your casket delivered for free on virtually any Friday.

Delivery fees:

Casket need is not always anticipated.  For expedited delivery, or for delivery on any day of the week other than Friday, there is a delivery fee.

Guaranteed 48 hour delivery in King, Pierce, Kitsap and Snohomish counties:  $50.00

For guaranteed 48 hour delivery any day of the week except Sunday*, there is a $50.00 delivery fee.

Guaranteed 24 hour delivery in King, Pierce, Kitsap and Snohomish counties:  $100.00

For guaranteed 24 hour delivery any day of the week except Sunday*, there is a $100.00 delivery fee.

Special arrangements:

Sometimes special arrangements can be made for pickup and delivery during non-business hours, or for pickup at a ferry terminal on the mainland.  If you need to make special arrangements, or to make arrangements for delivery outside the counties of King, Pierce, Kitsap, or Snohomish, please call VICCo. at (206) 463-6245 or (206) 473-0785. 

Fees vary according to special arrangements.

*Vashon Island Coffin Company is not available for pickup or delivery on Sunday or on the holidays of Christmas and Easter.

NOTE:  VICCo. delivers to private residences, businesses, churches or funeral homes, but not to PO Boxes.
